Tropical Brainforest
Made of granite from Singapore's very own
Mandai Quarry and created by local sculptor, Ms Han Sai Por,
"Tropical Brainforest" symbolises the
indigenous and diverse talents that make up DSO.

Together with the fountain, it depicts the creative forces
that drive DSO and aspiration to be a
wellspring of innovation capable of a continual stream of
tropical technological surprises

Unveiled by Mr Philip Yeo,
Chairman, Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR)
on 24th Jan 2003 to commemorate the
30th Anniversary of the establishent of the
DSO National Laboratories
