Based on the ST report, it suggests that HDB is afraid the public get burned by the hot stainless steel sculptures therefore their reason for wanting the artist to remove his work. Firstly, have HDB together with the artist make tests or measure the temperature during the hottest times of the day? Secondly, if the concern of public getting burned by hot metals in public space, should the common railings designed to assist people when they need something to hold on be removed too, since the are basically the same material as the sculpture?
Did HDB done their test to confirm their fears
